Abstract
Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) is an autoimmune inflammatory disease of the central nervous system (CNS); it is a severe disorder that leads to blindness and paralysis. It is called (Devic's disease) and it should be distinguished from multiple sclerosis (MS) by seropositivity of immunoglobulin IgG antibodies that are referred to AQP4 (the astrocytic water channel aquaporin-4) autoantibody. It has an incidence and prevalence around the world. At this research, we will indicate the Neuromyelitis Optica epidemiology at Jordan by meta-analysis study
